Faith or Works?

There is a misinterpretation of what qualifies us as saved. Feeding the poor, doesn't qualify us. Adopting the fatherless, doesn't qualify us. Providing for the widows, doesn't qualify us. Paying tithes and offering, doesn't qualify us. Being nice, doesn't qualify us. Getting rid of addictions, doesn't qualify us. What qualifies us is God's grace and our Faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as our Savior.

We are saved by grace, through faith. God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son that whomever BELIEVES on him (Jesus Christ) has everlasting life. There is absolutely NOTHING that we can DO (except dare to believe) that will qualify us! IF we could work ourselves into Heaven, those works would void out the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Howwwww ever.... our Faith is dead without works. See, our Faith in Jesus Christ is what saves us (by God's grace) but our works is what justifies our faith.

Pure Faith produces something...an action...a work. It wasn't enough for Noah to just believe, he actually had to do something that proved his belief. The story of the Ark would have never existed had Noah not had enough faith to persuade him to actually build the Ark! Remember all of the chaos that came with the arrival of the new millennium? Some people actually believed the world was going to end. Some people truly believed that the power would be knocked out. People were attending Church more often and stocking up on food and other items in preparation of what they believed was coming. Their efforts to prepare is what revealed their beliefs. What are we as Christians doing to prepare for the coming of Christ...(something we say we believe in)? We are judged according to our WORKS not our Faith because our Works reveal where our Faith lies. Because I believe on the name of Jesus Christ, I gave up partying. Because I believe on the name of Jesus Christ, I stopped shacking and got married. Because I believe on the name of Jesus Christ, I stopped cursing (filthy communication). Catch the drift? My FAITH has produced works in my life and those works reveal my beliefs (my faith)! What WORKS has your FAITH produced?

Let us reevaluate ourselves, remembering to allow LOVE to be our only motivation and our Faith to be purified by our fruitfulness. #Produce Something
