Invisible Battlefield

Our greatest battles are not physical. Our greatest battles are invisible (Spiritual)...taking place in the wilderness of our minds and wickedness of our hearts. Let me explain. There was an incident where a guy made a pass at a young attractive girl. The girl rejects him in front of everyone. Humiliated, frustrated, and rejected he becomes angry. Out of that anger he pulls a gun from his side and shoots the young woman in the back of the head at point blank range, instantly killing her. Although he eliminated the vessel, he did not eliminate the issue. He did not shoot and kill humiliation. He did not shoot and kill frustration. He did not shoot and kill rejection. He did not shoot and kill anger.

Just like that situation, there have been many situations in our lives that have provoked us to get angry, that have humiliated us, frustrated us, and subjected us to rejection. Some of us have handled these things by physically fighting others, cursing others, hating others, separating ourselves from others etc. However, attempting to physically fight a spiritual battle is like going outside and trying to fight the wind. Pointless! We don't physically see lust, jealously, envy, anger, hate, sorrow, depression, lies, unforgiveness, greed etc. These are things produced in the mind...in the heart...planted there by what we've seen, heard, touched, etc. not by Flesh and Blood (people).

Identify the real issue (it is not your friend, your spouse, your children, your coworkers, your parents, your siblings etc)...and fight accordingly that you may have true victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How do you fight these things? By using (speaking) the Word of God and connecting it to your Faith. It is only the Word of God that will stop the enemy from intruding into our lives and stealing, killing, and destroying everything that belongs to us. (Our joy, our Faith, our peace, our praise, our worship, our salvation etc.) What are you fighting? How are you fighting it? Are you winning or are you losing? #Fight Wisely
